We know that this image from the Cameron Ross McIntosh fonds was taken in North Battleford or Battleford, ca. 1920.  We would like to know:

  • What building are they standing before?
  • What is the nature of the organization to which they belong? What event is taking place?
  • Who are these men?

“Take me out to the ball game…”

As baseball season gets underway, our feature photograph is of the Battleford Collegiate Institute baseball team, 1929-1930. We do not know the names of the players, coach, or the trophy they appear to have won. Do you know of anyone who played baseball in the area at the time?

This image of three ladies posing with bouquets of greenery was taken in the Prince Albert/Shellbrook area around 1900-1910.  Can anyone help us to identify these lovely ladies?

In 1919, Annie McKay and Christina Bateman, two adventurous young women, decided to take a trip through northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Locations that we know they visited include Lac LaRonge, Stanley Mission and The Pas, Manitoba. This picture was taken by them sometime during their travels. Does anyone recognize this building?
